What the venue will ask
Corporate venues often want public liability insurance on file, fixed bump-in times and noise limits respected. Mention the venue when you enquire so acts can confirm they fit its rules.
Before you book
Can an act work to our run sheet?
Yes. Send your timings with the enquiry, including speeches and awards, and ask each act how they handle breaks around them.
Will the venue need their insurance?
Often. Many acts list public liability insurance on their page. Ask for a current copy once you book.
Can we book a host as well as music?
Yes. Put an MC and a band or DJ on the same shortlist and send one enquiry for both.
