Tom Brown

Tom Brown writes and sings country songs with a working farm behind them. His family has worked the same cropping and sheep country in central Victoria for six generations, and he grew up there, and picked up guitar young, playing around the campfire at local campdrafts. His acoustic playing is bold and raw, rooted in old-school country and blues, and players from Jerry Reed to Stevie Ray Vaughan shaped it. A distinctive voice and heartfelt lyrics carry his original songs. He's a good choice for a crowd that likes its country with some grit.
