Penny Burke

Country is where Penny Burke's music comes from, though a set also takes in folk and blues covers, a few of her own songs and a little banter that brings the audience in. Over the years she's worked on her voice until it handles almost any style, which helps when the crowd wants to wander off the country path. Her gigs have taken her to Tamworth, Charters Towers, Alice Springs, Mount Gambier, Lake Charlegrark, the Riverland, Tailem Bend, Port Pirie, Port Augusta and Penola, and she's been heard on ABC radio. Her own PA system comes with her; the venue only has to supply a stage and a power point. She's insured, based in Ballarat and travels anywhere in Victoria.
