The Bluetones

Swing blues from five of Adelaide's regulars. The Bluetones are Michael Mann on keys, David Howlett on guitar, Mark Winston on blues harp, Tony Borg on bass and Rob Eyers on drums, with vocals shared across the front three. They play the music of Little Walter, Freddie King, Hollywood Fats, Big Walter Horton, Rod Piazza and Charlie and the Night Cats, the kind of shuffle that pulls people onto the floor. You'll have heard them at The Gov, Memphis Slims House of Blues and the Semaphore Workers Club, where they play often. A swing and blues band like this is at home at a 50th or a club dance where people actually like to move. They travel up to 50 km from Adelaide.
