Sally Cooper is a singer based in Brisbane, QLD.
Solo, duo or trio, Sally Cooper keeps the music acoustic and easy on the ear. On a solo booking, Sally sings and plays guitar or keys, using vocal looping to build up layers. The duo adds a cellist or a second guitarist, and the trio has both. The songs are well-loved jazz, blues, folk, pop and soul, things like Moondance, What's Going On, Fields of Gold, Purple Rain and a few Beatles numbers, with a sweet, bluesy tone. It's relaxed background music, and it sits well at a wedding. Book more than an hour and you get 40-minute sets, with a pause of 10 to 15 minutes between each. Sally brings a small PA, plus lights if needed, and needs about 5ft by 5ft of floor. Power close by helps, though a battery inverter means it isn't essential.
