The Chills is a cover band based in Perth, WA.
The Chills can pitch a night either way: a laid-back groove people can relax to, or enough funk to get them dancing. The trio is a female vocalist, a keyboard player who also sings, and a drummer, and everything is played on live instruments. Their sound mixes soul, funk, R&B and blues with a bit of classic Aussie rock. Recent hits sit alongside older grooves, so you'll hear Crazy in Love, Cupid, Get Lucky and Shape of You as well as Ain't Nobody, Chain of Fools and Ain't No Sunshine. Ben and Carmelo met while teaching music at a Perth school, and Lauralee joined through a friend of a friend. They need a covered area of at least 4 by 3 metres, plus power. Perth-based, with travel up to 300 km, and they hold a WA Working With Children Check.
