The EKKA country showdown is one of Sari Abbott's wins, and in 2023 she made the top 10 of the Starmaker search at the Tamworth Country Music Festival. Based on the Sunshine Coast, she writes, sings and plays guitar, and her country songs tell her own stories, with self-discovery and independence at their heart. She writes alongside other strong artists. Booked solo, she sings and plays guitar through country covers as well as her originals, which sits well at a wedding, a pub gig or an afternoon at a winery. Setup is simple, since she only needs power, and she travels up to 200 km.
