Rasika Hewage plays solo violin, and the set can travel a long way in one evening, from songs your older guests danced to decades ago up to this year's radio pop. Classical pieces, current pop and hits from every decade since the 60s all sit in the repertoire. Range like that pays off at a wedding, where a single player has to please three generations at once, and it suits a morning melodies session just as well. Rasika works out of Wheelers Hill in Melbourne's south-east and travels Australia-wide.
