Owen Hinton

Owen Hinton, who also goes by The Suburban Cowboy, plays a solo show that can suit a lazy afternoon or a rowdy party night. With guitar and voice he moves through 50s and 60s rock 'n' roll, pub rock, country and Irish sing-alongs, shaping the list to the crowd and taking requests along the way. Expect songs from Cold Chisel, Johnny Cash, Dwight Yoakam, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Dragon, The Eagles and Buddy Holly. His sound and lighting cover up to 100 guests, fit in about 2 metres by 2 and run off one standard power point, and set-up and pack-down are quick. That compact footprint makes him easy to slot into a backyard party, a pub or a wedding. He's based in Point Cook and travels up to 100 km.
