McFarlanes Lantern

McFarlanes Lantern play blues and soul with a New York rock edge and a bit of bourbon in the tone. The Brisbane band's covers run from the older greats, Ella Fitzgerald, Nina Simone and Eric Clapton, up to Joe Bonamassa, ZZ Top and The Commitments, with some rarer songs in the mix too. They write their own material as well, funky originals that sit comfortably beside the covers, and their most recent single is Grow Old Together. Pubs and parties with a dance floor get the most out of them, since the funk side wants feet moving.
