Madeleine Antoine

Six years old when she first picked up a violin, Madeleine Antoine now plays with the Perth Symphony Orchestra and the ensemble INNEKA, and has toured Canada, China and Europe. She's played alongside Rod Stewart, Eskimo Joe, Olivia Newton-John and Michael Bublé, and taken solo spots at the Red Cape Ball and the Art Ball run by the Art Gallery of Western Australia, plus the opening event for the WA Museum's Boola Bardip building. Booked as a Violinist, she also lists Musical Duo and Wedding Band, pairing with another player when a fuller sound suits the room. Two instruments travel with her, an electric violin for a bigger PA and a French acoustic one that's a century old, and she brings her own amplification for a smaller event or works with the venue's sound technician for a larger one. Perth-based, she travels up to 50 km.
