Limerick

Limerick's fiddle player doesn't stay on stage for long, roaming out into the crowd while the rest of the band keeps the tune going. The Brisbane four-piece plays high-energy Celtic rock alongside traditional tunes, originals and modern songs everyone knows, the stomping, sing-along kind. Book The Shamrock Dancers with them and there's dancing on the floor as well. The band has won an Australian Celtic Music Award and has featured at festivals and venues in both Queensland and New South Wales. On stage it's acoustic guitar, electric bass, fiddle and a full drum kit, with four vocal mics. A roaming fiddle and a dance troupe make them a natural draw at a festival, and they take weddings, birthdays and company functions as well. A full song list is available on request.
