A Wee Dram Ceilidh Band

Nobody needs to know a single step before an A Wee Dram ceilidh. The caller shows each dance first and talks everyone through it, so first-timers are fine, and guests can sit out or jump in whenever they like. Expect partner swaps, group dances and some organised chaos that gets grandparents and teenagers laughing together. The dances include the Virginia Reel, Strip the Willow, the Canadian Barn Dance, the Military Two Step and the Dashing White Sergeant before Auld Lang Syne to finish, and you can request others. Pick from three formats: a caller with a set playlist for tight spaces, a caller plus one musician, or the full live band with caller. They need a PA taking four instruments and a mic (they can bring one), about 4 x 3 metres and two power points. They're insured and take bookings within 50 km of Melbourne.
