Jazz is home ground for Lewis Pierre. The Melbourne drummer studied at Melbourne University, graduating with a Bachelor of Music, and has played on more than 17 full-length albums, most of them in the jazz world. One-off jobs are the specialty, on stage or in the studio, and working with people for the first time is part of the appeal. So if your band is a drummer short for one night, or a recording needs someone steeped in jazz who can settle in quickly, Lewis is a sensible call. Styles outside jazz are welcome too.
