Adam Barnard

For a jazz band that needs a drummer who knows the old styles, Adam Barnard has spent more than forty years playing swing and jazz from the 1920s through the 50s. Adam also plays old-school washboard and percussion, which suits a vintage or speakeasy-themed night. Along the way Adam has worked with Don Burrows, James Morrison, Mic Conway, Ignatius Jones and George Washingmachine. Regular work includes Dr Gumbo, King Creole, The Aston Martinis, Bootsie's Four Piece Trio, Tipsey and The Tonics, The Faculties, Greg Poppleton, and Pia Andersen's Queenie and The Cavaliers. Adam is based in Sydney.
