Kachimbaz is a Latin band based in Sydney, NSW.
Salsa, cumbia and merengue are the backbone of a Kachimbaz set, with Latin rock and samba mixed through it. The Sydney six-piece plays the classic Latin hits close to the originals, then gives them a modern live edge, so older guests recognise the songs and younger ones still dance. Their rider lists bass, guitar, two keyboards and drums, and they've played Latin festivals around Australia. Expect a show with a sense of humour and a few surprises along the way. A sound system can be supplied on request, and they travel nationwide.
