FireHouse 22 is a blues band based in Perth, WA.
Stevie Ray Vaughan and ZZ Top share a FireHouse 22 set with Paul Kelly, Powderfinger and The Church. The Perth three-piece plays rock 'n' blues old and new, from the Rolling Stones, Chuck Berry, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix to Foo Fighters and Jack White, with Chain, INXS and The Angels in the mix and a few originals of their own. All three sing. Leigh Aldersea plays electric and acoustic guitar and came up through Perth's pub rock circuit from the late 80s, touring the Eastern states and playing Bindoon Rock along the way. Scott Lawrence plays bass, has worked with Lindsay Wells and Ian Kenny, and tends to get laughs between songs. Howie Johnstone drums. His history includes recording and touring with Dave Warner & The Suburbs, and later The Jackals. It suits a crowd that likes its rock with the blues left in.
