Brazil Nuts

Old-school hits you might not expect from a Latin band are the heart of a Brazil Nuts set. Sweet Caroline, Under the Boardwalk, Runaround Sue and Stand By Me sit next to Rock Around the Clock, I Will Survive and My Girl, with Brazilian tunes and some classical pieces woven in. The list runs to about 80 songs, so there's room to shape it. The Adelaide orchestra comes in three sizes. The quartet suits a cocktail party or a smaller work function, the quintet brings more players and more lift, and the 10-piece adds a full horn section, percussion and vocals for a big room. At minimum they need a covered area of 3 by 3 metres and a power point. They travel nationwide.
