Bluesonic

Bluesonic are a four-piece Sydney blues band, and their set honours the early greats of the genre. Rick Lum formed the band, and the music draws on Muddy Waters, B.B. King, Little Walter, Willie Dixon, John Lee Hooker, Elmore James, Bo Diddley, Junior Wells, T-Bone Walker, Freddie King, Albert King, Buddy Guy and Stevie Ray Vaughan. They usually play three sets of 45 minutes each. Four players keeps the footprint small, which suits a pub session, a blues club or a party where the guests know their twelve-bar. They travel up to 25 km.
