Blarney Stone

Blarney Stone play Celtic folk on the instruments it was made for: tin whistle, fiddle, concertina, mandolin, tenor banjo and Irish octave. That gives the sound real depth. The Brisbane band mixes old and new Irish pub songs, the kind made for singing along, with bursts of lively jigs and reels, and there's a set of traditional Australian folk too. So an Irish-themed night, a St Patrick's celebration or a folk dance gets songs the room can join. Every player carries personal artist insurance, and they travel up to 50 km.
