Ballpoint Penguins

The Ballpoint Penguins sing a cappella comedy, and the subjects are odd on purpose: intelligent design, an obsession with Tupperware, the romantic effect of a vacuum cleaner and how to get grown-up kids to move out. It all comes in a neat, stylish package that hides some sharp wordplay. Alongside their own songs, they dip into the classic musical mischief of Monty Python, Tom Lehrer and Flanders and Swann. It's a show for an audience that likes to listen and laugh at clever lyrics. The group lives in Perth and plays music festivals around Australia.
