Choirs for Hire is a choir based in Sydney, NSW.
A choir of 20 to 30 voices changes how a room feels, and that's what Choirs for Hire bring to a Sydney wedding, party, festival or Christmas event. The director runs five community choirs and assembles a group for your date from whoever is free, and small a cappella groups are an option too. Each choir holds up to 30 pieces across pop, jazz, gospel, folk, world music and classical: Space Oddity next to Mozart's Ave Verum Corpus, Happy beside Hawaii Aloha and an African chant. They sing for 25 to 30 minutes between breaks, can stay one to three hours and dress professionally. Churches and halls with natural echo suit them best. Outdoors, they need shelter from the sun, and a PA helps in open spaces. They cover Sydney and its suburbs, up to 50 km.
