We Three & Bootsy

Hard swinging jazz is the core of a We Three & Bootsy set, with soulful tunes in between for a change of pace. Drummer Andrew Smith leads the band and acts as its musical director, and the rest of the line-up is drawn from experienced Australian players. The band makes a genuine connection with its audience a priority, so this is a band for an evening where the music is the main event rather than the background. Swing is dance music at heart, too, so don't be surprised if a few guests get up. The band is based in Brisbane.
