Water Dragons

Trumpet and fretless bass give Water Dragons a sound you won't hear from most function bands. The group started with two friends recording in a home studio, and it now plays those songs live with real musicians on stage. They've been playing weddings and events since 2000, and the style moves through jazz, funk, Latin and easy listening, mostly songs your guests will already know. That mellow, horn-led feel sits nicely under a relaxed reception or a private party. They're based in Byron Bay and travel nationwide.
