Theodore is a pianist based in Sydney, NSW.
Theodore is the stage name of Peter Teodorescu, a pianist and bass-baritone singer who plays from memory, with more than 500 songs in his head. The music covers swing, jazz, ragtime, classical, movie themes, opera, Italian canzonettas, and Greek and Balkan songs. He sings in English, French, Russian, Italian, Spanish, Romanian, Romani and Yiddish. His vocal repertoire runs from Sinatra, Dean Martin and Nat King Cole across to Ivan Rebroff and Saban Bajramovic. For a wedding he can play the ceremony and then stay on through the reception, from arrivals to the last guest out. He spent over 15 years touring Europe and the US, playing palaces and embassies, before moving to Australia from Romania in 2017. Piano, PA and microphone can all be supplied. Sydney-based, he travels nationwide, is insured and has a Working With Children Check.
