The Zephyr Project

The Zephyr Project are three mates from Beachmere who play the good stuff from the 1940s to the 70s: jump blues, swing, rock and roll, rockabilly and a bit of pub rock. Expect Chuck Berry, Ray Charles and The Paladins next to The Animals, The Easybeats, Reverend Horton Heat and ZZ Top. They can play fast or slow, loud or soft, and if you're planning a rock and roll dance night they'll build the set around it. They've been together close to ten years, with slots at Greazefest, Cooly Rocks On and Garterbelts and Gasoline, and an EP of their own songs has had radio play. They bring their own PA, backline and lights, sized from club rig up to one that covers a field. Give them room for three players, cover from the weather and more than one power point. They're insured and travel up to 500 km.
