The Vauxhalls

Every member of The Vauxhalls sings, and those stacked harmonies are the sound of fifties and sixties rock 'n' roll. The Sydney four-piece is Mark Lord on sax, Neil Cheverton on guitar, Leon Delander on bass and Mick Ellis on drums. They've taken the name from the old Vauxhall car, a nod to drive-in nights and dancing when these songs were new. Each of them can lead a wide range of the era's standards, so the set keeps moving. Between them, the players have worked stadiums, festivals, cruises and clubs. Book them for a rock 'n' roll dance, a fifties theme party or a club night full of people keen to jive.
