The Uptown Catz

Saxophone gives The Uptown Catz a sound a bit different from the usual four-piece. Joe Breitenfeld plays it, Stephen Pinzone is on guitar, Andrew McLeod plays bass and Artie Shugg drums, and all of them sing, so the harmonies are a strong point. The Melbourne band's roots are rock and roll, but they cover other styles as well, from blues and R&B to country rock. A rock and roll dance is their natural home, and they're comfortable at a pub gig, a festival or a wedding. They travel statewide.
