4 Peace is a band based in Perth, WA.
The drums are the signal with 4 Peace. Before they come in, the Perth band plays smooth jazz and R&B, the kind of cocktail-hour sound people can talk over. Once the kit starts, the set turns toward dancing, with some reggae in the mix. Amanda, Thierryno, Frank and Marc are the four players, all of them experienced musicians. A man and a woman trade lead vocals out front, sometimes taking turns and sometimes joining in harmony. That spread of styles lets the band shift the mood as your event goes on, instead of staying in one groove all night. Each member also plays in other projects across Western Australia.
