The Swing Beans

Bright, uptempo swing from the 1920s to the 1950s is The Swing Beans' territory, and it works whether your guests are listening or up dancing. The full band is acoustic: two archtop guitars, double bass and violin, with harmony vocals over the top. For a smaller event they'll come as a trio or a duo. Tico Tico, Cow Cow Boogie, Comes Love and I'll See You in My Dreams are the kind of tunes you'll hear. They've spent seven years playing around Brisbane and South East Queensland, often at corporate gigs and parties. They bring their own PA, and they'll arrive an hour ahead to set up. All they need is 240 volt power, plus cover for an outdoor booking. They're covered by public liability insurance, and bookings up to 200 km away are fine.
