The Renditions

Dancing is the main aim for The Renditions, though they'll keep it to background music while dinner is served if the event starts quietly. Up front in the Melbourne six-piece there's a female lead singer and a male singer who also plays rhythm guitar, backed by keys, lead guitar, drums and bass, and the music covers every decade from the 60s onwards: Skyhooks, The Rolling Stones, Paul Kelly and The Beatles through to Bruno Mars, Adele, Lenny Kravitz and Taylor Swift. They'll plan the mix with you and learn special requests if you send them early. Their own sound engineer runs a PA that scales from a small venue to an auditorium of 150-plus, stage lighting is available, and they sort out access and sound checks with the venue directly. For quieter functions there's a three-piece of vocals, acoustic guitar and keys. They travel up to 50 km.
