The Quintessentials is a jazz band based in Perth, WA.
Swing and jazz standards, the songs Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Bublé and Harry Connick Jr made famous, are what The Quintessentials play, with Earl Cole out front as the only singer. The band behind him is all Perth players: Barnabas Courtauld drums, Malcolm Mah plays bass, Jeff Campbell is on guitar and David Wickham covers piano and keys. The sound is smooth and meant to stay in the background, so it works for a cocktail party, a wedding while guests are eating, or a function where people want to talk. Perth is home.
