The Great Armando

Kids don't just watch a Great Armando show; they help run it. Children assist with the tricks, choose what happens next and get to surprise the grown-ups, while parents and teachers are drawn into the fun too. He paces his signature show to the age group on the day, and the birthday child gets a special moment, always optional, so quieter kids are never pushed into the spotlight. For a bigger party there's an extended version that flows from magic into games, the cake and a hands-on workshop where children learn tricks to show off at home. Birthday parties, school incursions, kindergartens and festivals across Victoria make up most of his work. Originally from Italy, Armando performed across Europe before settling in Melbourne, and he has more than 20 years of professional shows behind him, with TV appearances in Italy and Australia, among them the Today Show.
