Adam Axford

Phones, rings and cash are what Adam Axford likes to work with, everyday things that make his close-up magic hard to explain away. Then come the bigger visual moments: fire, smoke and objects that seem to ignore gravity. He performs hypnosis as well, and for a seated audience there's an intimate stage show. Adam learned his craft busking in East London before taking it into corporate rooms, and BP, Bank of America and Merrill Lynch are among his past clients. The close-up work suits a company function where guests are up and mingling. He's based in Sydney.
