The Ceremonialist

The Ceremonialist writes and leads ceremonies, from weddings and elopements to vow renewals, naming ceremonies, blessingways, rites of passage, and life celebrations and memorials. Each script is written around the people involved, their story and what they value. Retreats, workshops and events can have a ceremonial opening or close, and event MC work is available as well. The style on the day is calm and organised, relaxed rather than stiff. A rechargeable PA and cordless microphone come along, which makes a beach or a park with no power straightforward, and in-house venue sound works fine too. Allow a small space at the front and entry to the site 20 to 30 minutes ahead so the PA can be set and tested. Insurance in place: public liability, plus professional indemnity. Based in Newcastle, with travel up to 200 km.
