That Retro Band

Saturday nights at Currumbin RSL and Southport Sharks are regular territory for That Retro Band, a Gold Coast covers act built around 70s and 80s favourites. The goal on the night is simple: a busy dance floor. They play around 30 gigs a year, and the mix runs from pubs and clubs to corporate galas and private functions. Village Roadshow Theme Parks use them often, for company events as well as public spectaculars, and they've played the Feast on Fifth street festival in Palm Beach in recent years. For a birthday or work party where people want to hear songs they know, it's an easy booking. They travel Australia-wide.
