Subtle, elegant instrumental piano is what Terence Koo brings, whether it's jazz standards, pop from the 70s to the 90s, Studio Ghibli themes or a little classical. It can be solo piano, or piano over chilled beats. For a wedding or a long function, one option is Terence alone at the piano as people arrive, with a band stepping in once the evening warms up; Terence works within a network of musicians, so a duo, trio or bigger ensemble is easy to arrange. The material includes Autumn Leaves, Cavatina, Fly Me to the Moon, The Girl from Ipanema, Careless Whisper, Bohemian Rhapsody and Better Be Home Soon. Terence brings all the equipment and needs only power and a flat surface, or will happily play the venue's piano if it's been tuned recently. Most gigs are around Newcastle and the Central Coast.
