Tenor Roger Davy

Your guests think he's the waiter, or the chef, or the bloke from security. Then Roger Davy starts singing opera. The Roving Opera Guy is his surprise act, and the disguise can be matched to your event, so it lands at a company dinner, a festival or a party at home. The repertoire runs from Bublé to Broadway, with classic songs and plenty of Pavarotti, and he also performs a full tribute show, Pavarotti Forever. He started out as a boy soprano, was a Young Artist with Opera Queensland, sang major understudy roles with Opera Australia and has performed in the UK and Europe. He needs a PA with a wireless microphone and a sound check, and sings to backing tracks. Gold Coast-based, he travels nationwide and carries public liability insurance.
