Clara Helms is a soprano who moves easily between opera and pop. She'll sing the Queen of the Night aria, then something from Bocelli, Bublé, Celine Dion or a musical, and she writes her own songs too. Many people first heard her as a finalist on Australia's Got Talent. Since then she has sung national anthems at international rugby, including the Wallabies against the Springboks in Perth, headlined a Christmas event at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and opened for Il Divo. She's also a trained dancer and actor, and you can see it in the way she moves on stage. For a gala, a ceremony moment or a formal dinner, she's the kind of act that makes a room go quiet.
