Sydney New Orleans Marching Band is a jazz band based in Sydney, NSW.
Sydney New Orleans Marching Band can walk among your guests, set up in one spot, or do a bit of both. It's the traditional New Orleans brass band idea with a modern twist, mixing trad jazz with pop, soul and funk covers in a slightly quirky way. The line-up runs from four players to ten, and the repertoire is long enough to suit most crowds. Roving works well at a garden party, a drinks reception or a race day, where people are on the move, and the band also plays boat cruises, regattas, weddings, birthday parties, jazz clubs and festivals. At Christmas there's a dedicated Christmas band too.
