Sydney Jazz Collective is a jazz band based in Sydney, NSW.
Sydney Jazz Collective can send a single musician or a six-piece, and more when the event calls for it. Ensembles can be vocal or instrumental, drawn from saxophone, trumpet, guitar, keys or piano, double bass, drums and vocals. Weddings are their main trade, around 100 a year by their own count. The music is jazz, pop, funk and soul classics, and once it's time to dance they pull songs from Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, Bruno Mars, Van Morrison, Aretha Franklin, Adele, Michael Jackson and Kanye West. They'll play a Hora, and take requests for your bridal waltz. Tell them what you like and they'll shape the program around it. Normal household power is all they need, and they carry public liability insurance.
