Swing Sisters is a band based in Sydney, NSW.
The songs of the 1940s are the whole point of Swing Sisters. Their show is a tribute to three wartime favourites, Vera Lynn, Edith Piaf and the Andrews Sisters, with Gershwin and big band swing from the same years added in. Expect sing-alongs and a lot of audience involvement, which makes it a strong pick for a themed dinner or an audience that knows its standards. The format is flexible. As a duo they can perform for up to an hour with backing tracks, or hand charts to a house band. For a show of one to two hours they bring their own band of four to seven players, or use backing tracks. Dance brackets, a male vocalist and dancers can all be added. They're based in Sydney.
