Sweet Velvet

Sweet Velvet play hard rock in the spirit of the 70s and 80s, loud and guitar-driven, and most weeks they're on a stage somewhere around Sydney. Lou Rocco on bass and Elvin Edmonds on drums started the band, Liam Wild handles all the guitars and Dave Williams sings. They write their own songs and want to be known for them, though covers go into the set depending on the gig. So think of them for a pub gig, a rock-themed night or any party where people want riffs and volume, not background music. They're based in Leichhardt and travel up to 50 km.
