Sweet Thing

Records only. Sweet Thing plays vinyl, digging out rare tunes from the early days of disco and the funk, soul, gospel and Latin music it grew out of. She works more as a music host than a showy DJ, with a nod to the loft parties New York threw from the late 60s into the 70s, where the selection is the whole point. You'll find her behind the decks at Rekodo, The Hive Bar and The Trocadero Room. Pick her for a cocktail party or birthday crowd that notices what's on the turntable. She's based in Erskineville, in Sydney's inner west.
