Sousaphone, washboard, recorders and ukuleles aren't the usual function band kit, and that's Sweet Ade's charm. The six-piece also plays clarinet, saxophones, accordion, piano and drums, with vocals on top, covering music from the late 1800s to today. You can pick what the night needs: semi-acoustic background music, a happy backdrop to the meal that won't drown anyone out, dance sets for everyone from the kids to the grandparents, or a concert-style show with novelty numbers and comedy.
