SqueezeVox is an Italian entertainer based in Sydney, NSW.
Voice and accordion is the whole line-up, which is why SqueezeVox fit so easily into the corner at a dinner or a cocktail party. The Sydney duo is self-contained and portable. Alfredo Malabello sings and Nick Bavarelli plays accordion, and the music is Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra, classic Italian songs, the Italian-American songbook and a little pop opera. It's intimate music for a table of people who want to talk and linger. Alfredo has more than 30 years on stage, with work that has taken him to Milan, Rome, New York, Tokyo, London and Nashville, and he's an actor too, with roles in Underbelly, Carla Cametti PD and Tricky Business. Nick holds a Mo Award, has been keyboard player and musical director for several acts from TV talent shows, and played piano and keys on Patrizio Buanne's 2014 concert tour.
