Shmone is a saxophone player based in Perth, WA.
Shmoné build songs from scratch in front of you. Idan Shoham leads the act on saxophone and vocals, layering sax, guitar, percussion and beats with a looper as he plays, and the music drifts between world, roots, folk and groove. Book Idan on his own, add one or two players, or bring in the whole band, so the act scales from a quiet dinner to a festival stage. Shmoné have played Woodford Folk Festival and Bluesfest Byron Bay. The live looping makes it something to watch as well as hear, which suits a party or corporate night that wants more than background music. Perth-based, they travel up to 500 km.
