Scat is a jazz band based in Brisbane, QLD.

Scat draw people in rather than sitting politely in the corner. It's live jazz with a sense of fun, and the Brisbane band is just as comfortable with a handful of guests as with a full hall. The players all studied at the Queensland Conservatorium and have spent years working the city's jazz and corporate circuit. Their calendar is broad. Black-tie dinners, corporate awards nights, conferences and university balls sit next to church services, gospel and community festivals, café and club gigs, and in-store appearances. They've played concerts, appeal dinners and album launches, and staged shows of their own. Music workshops are on offer too, which gives a youth event something hands-on.
