Queen Bee

Bernadette, who works as Queen Bee, is a Brisbane MC for the nights where the run sheet really matters: awards presentations, gala dinners, conferences, fundraisers and upmarket weddings. She comes from journalism, TV and radio, speechwriting and communications strategy, so she's as comfortable writing the words as saying them. The technical side is covered. Autocue, in-ear monitoring and cues timed as tightly as a broadcast are all familiar, and she can run panel sessions. Accessibility is part of her planning too. She's used to sharing the stage with Auslan interpreters and working with access teams so no guest is left out. With over 1,000 events behind her, she prepares carefully and brings a bit of sass and sparkle to the mic. She travels Australia-wide.
