Orbit

A single metal hoop hung above the room is all Orbit needs. The act is lyra, sometimes called aerial hoop, and the performances are slow and graceful rather than frantic, built on strength, flexibility and movement that flows from one shape into the next. It's made for polished, upmarket settings, where guests look up from their drinks and stay watching. Aerial and trapeze work is the focus, though the listed skills also take in acrobatics, balancing, juggling, circus and costumed character work, plus hip hop dance.
